A drive-thru coronavirus testing site that was set to open for the first time on April 10 closed for the day due to high winds that could blow away the testing tents. The testing site was located at the Sears parking lot in Flatbush, Brooklyn at 2307 Beverley Rd.


A New York State Trooper informs people who show up for drive-thru COVID-19 tests that the test site is closed for the day due to high winds that could blow away the testing tents. The weather changed to sleet.


Members of the U.S. military assisted with the running of the drive-thru testing site and provided security.




The weather began to clear later in the day, but the drive-thru COVID-19 testing site remained closed for the day.
